Scott Stone believes we all have the capacity to move well and have a strong, supple, and healthy body—at any age. For more than 20 years, he has helped people move efficiently and effortlessly, and enjoy getting up every day.
As a health coach, neuromuscular coach, movement enhancement specialist, and functional trainer, Scott helps his clients to be mindful and listen to their bodies. His holistic approach helps people improve structural integrity, mobility, flexibility, balance, performance, and strength.
Scott has a range of experience. He devoted 13 years to working in a sports and spine clinic specializing in occupational and biomechanical injuries resulting from abnormal stresses on the body.
Scott also spent many years as a personal trainer and has training in acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine, and exercise science.
Scott's ability to reach common ground with his clients is due to his own varied athletic pursuits. He combines weightlifting, functional fitness, running, yoga, and any other movement that feels good.
Since 1994, he has demonstrated his endurance and commitment to a healthy lifestyle by completing more than 30 marathons, including 18 consecutive Boston Marathon finishes.
Scott is a NASM Certified Performance Enhancement Specialist. He holds a BS in Exercise Science, Health and Fitness.
